Carolyn Sherman

Events and Program Support Manager


Carolyn Sherman serves as the Events & Fellowships Program Manager and has been with the Institute since January 2009, when the NDIAS moved into its current offices in Flanner Hall. Before coming to the Institute, she served as Director of Music and Liturgy for two local Catholic churches. Prior to this appointment, Carolyn worked in Campus Ministry at the University of Notre Dame. Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with concentrations in Literature and Creative Writing. Her research areas were early American literature, poetry, and playwriting. Before completing her degree, she was an executive administrative assistant to the Publisher of Ave Maria Press and the Director of the Schurz Library at Indiana University South Bend. She continues to sing, write, and play golf as often as possible.
