Join the NDIAS for a Zoom book discussion of Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel on Friday, April 17, 2020, from 3:00-4:30 p.m.
NDIAS faculty, students, and staff have been reading the book together to gain new perspective on our current circumstances. If you’d like to read the book as well, or have read it already, and are interested in participating in the conversation, please RSVP to Kristian Olsen (firstname.lastname@example.org) to receive further information and confirm space availability. The discussion is open to all members of the Notre Dame community.
Station Eleven tells the story of a band of musicians and actors who survive a pandemic and travel around the Lake Michigan area, visiting remaining communities and keeping art, literature, and culture alive in the face of an unfathomable catastrophe. It was a finalist for the 2015 National Book Award.
