Join the Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Study for "The Making of Thom Browne: A Conversation with Thom Browne and Michael Hainey."

This discussion will provide an inside look into how an ND swimmer from the class of ‘88 became a designer to LeBron James and Michelle Obama and built a fashion empire.

Thom Browne is a former GQ Designer of the Year and three-time winner of the CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year Award. His designs have been recognized by the top museums around the world including the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art.

Michael Hainey ('86) is a Deputy Editor of Air Mail and author of the New York Times best-seller, After Visiting Friends.

The event will be held Tuesday, October 25 at 6:00 pm in Washington Hall. The event is general seating and doors will open at 5:30pm. Add event to your Google Calendar.
