Shana Scogin is a Ph.D. Candidate in Political Science at the University of Notre Dame. Her research areas are comparative politics, methodology, and theory, with a particular focus in South Asia. Her interests include the environment and disasters, community mobilization, governance, public goods, and democratic citizenship. I employ both quantitative and qualitative methods. Her dissertation focuses on the politics of post-disaster reconstruction through a subnational design in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal.
