Professor Sullivan currently serves as Director of the Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Study. She is also a member of the Philosophy Department, the Director of Notre Dame's God and the Good Life Program, and the Principal Investigator of the Mellon Foundation’s Philosophy as a Way of Life grant (2018-2021) and the Templeton Foundation’s Philosophy and Religion Engaged with the Public pilot program. Paul assists with grant writing and grant fulfillment for the NDIAS, and helps organize its Ph.D. and undergraduate programming. He is also a teacher and researcher of philosophy, specializing in epistemology and action theory. Read more.

Carolyn executes all NDIAS events and assists Fellows with their housing, orientation, and ongoing campus needs. Her degree is in English literature and creative writing, and she continues to write poetry and short stories. Read more.

Kristian manages the NDIAS fellowship application and review process, assists with marketing and communications, and oversees the Institute's facilities and technological needs. He is also a trained philosopher with expertise in theoretical ethics and ethical history. Read more.
