Minha Ansari is a sophomore with a major in economics and a supplementary major in pre-health and is preparing for medical school and a career in medicine. She is a local South Bend student with a family background from Pakistan. Minha is part of Building Bridges, the Muslim Student Association, the South Asian Student Association, and Compassionate Care in Medicine. She spent the winter session of her freshman year researching with Notre Dame’s Sleep, Stress, and Memory Lab and was granted a summer internship at Notre Dame’s Kellogg Institute, working with the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children. Her research interests include psychology and medical work as well as the medical gap between the rich and poor. Her interests also include helping provide educational benefits to women in developing countries.
