Kendra Lyimo is a sophomore from Gibbon, Minnesota and is pursuing a major in art history with a minor in Africana studies. She has hopes of pursuing a career in the curatorial field where she can share and advocate for the work of underrepresented minority artists. Her research interests focus on the intersections of race, history, and art. On campus, Kendra is also an active member of the Italian Club and serves as secretary for the Art History Club.
