The History Department invites you to join us in celebrating the publication of Katlyn Carter's monograph Democracy in Darkness: Secrecy and Transparency in the Age of Revolutions, which appeared October 31 from Yale University Press. We will meet at 4:30 on Thursday, November 30, in the Decio Fourth Floor Commons. Gregory Dowd will travel from the University of Michigan, where he is Helen Hornbeck Tanner Collegiate Professor and Associate Dean for the Humanities, to remark on Katlyn's work.
