Meera Bhakta is a sophomore at the University of Notre Dame from Dallas, Texas. She is majoring in science pre-professional studies with a minor in international development. Her research interests include justice, healthcare, and increasing equity, across rural America and the greater world. Outside of the NDIAS, Meera helps lead Badin Hall’s Service and Sustainability team, works in disability advocacy for student government, and enjoys Irish football!
