Charlotte Probst is a senior double majoring in biological sciences and philosophy, originally from Vancouver, Washington. She is fascinated by evolutionary ecology, particularly birds. In the course of her ornithological research, she has gone backstage at the Field Museum, measured hundreds of specimens, and spent the summer bushwhacking through old growth forest in Oregon to contribute to a long-term dataset of bird populations. She is also interested in environmental ethics, philosophy of religion, and philosophy of science. On campus, Charlotte can be found singing with the Notre Dame Chorale or monitoring the chimney swift roost at Columba Hall.
