James Thompson is a sophomore at Notre Dame from McKinney, Texas. At Our Lady's University he is studying sociology and peace studies, with a minor in civil and human rights. His interests lie in activism and social movements, religion as a mobilizer for justice, and questions of just policy concerning migration. Outside of the NDIAS he is involved with organizations on campus such as a Student Voices for Palestine and Student Policy Network. He also serves as board member for a non-profit that services Notre Dame students advocating for a holistic approach to reproductive health, rights, and justice.
