Ana López Almánzar is a sophomore in the University of Notre Dame majoring in Psychology and Education, Schooling & Society with a concentration in Comparative Educational Policy. She is from the Dominican Republic and Spain and grew up between the two countries. Ana has a strong interest in psychology and has been involved in research as a research assistant in Professor Jenny Padilla’s Latinx Adolescents, Siblings, and Families Research Lab. She is also passionate about access to quality public education and hopes to continue her studies in this field through research. Outside of the NDIAS, Ana is a GROW Peer Educator as well as part of the Latino Honor Society, and enjoys traveling, reading, and volunteering.
