Carolyn Davin is a senior from New Jersey pursuing a double major in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics ("ACMS") and Economics. She is a member of the Economics Honors program and is completing her senior thesis examining issues in the economics of education. During the summer of 2020, she worked as Economic Research Intern at the Federal Reserve Board, working on a research project with a team of economists in the Advanced Foreign Economies Section. She has also worked as an analytics intern with the ACMS Department in conjunction with members of Notre Dame Athletics Strength and Conditioning team creating data visualizations used to assess the effectiveness of training regimens and to determine the risk of injury. Additionally, she researched various statistical methods for measuring individual change or improvement.
