Miriam Rice is a sophomore at the University of Notre Dame from Easton, Pennsylvania and the Jersey Shore. She is majoring in Music and the Program of Liberal Studies and is a member of the Glynn Family Honors Program. Her research interests include all forms of art, especially the moral dimension of what it means to be an artist. Outside of the NDIAS, Miriam is a proud tenor saxophone in the Band of the Fighting Irish. When she’s not at band rehearsal, she can be found practicing the piano, decorating her room with more flowers than it can hold, and going on rosary walks.
